Alright so i havent been on deviant too often, thats cause i was busy designing for our very own clothing company "Paani puri" for those who dont know what that is, Paani Puri!? Clothing? A Clothing Company? Really? That’s crazy! silly! and even goofy! YUP! At 5:30am on 20th April '09, Rish Oberoi was watching Batman-The Dark Knight, but could only think of, "how amazing would Paani Puri be right now”. With that thought in mind, he went through his phone book to call anyone who could create this image. And EUREKA! (before we go on, the designers name is actually EUREKA- thats me lolz) That’s how Paani Puri started; simply a joke made into a reality.

Pani Puri (pronounced ‘ah-ni poo-ree’ or Golgappa ('ronounced ‘goal-gup-pa) is a popular street snack for most Indians. It’s basically a round, hollow "puri", fried crisp and filled with a watery mixture of tamarind, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion and chickpeas. It is bite size and enough to pop in the mouth (unless you have a REALLY small mouth!).

The term golgappa refers to the fact that crisp sphere ("gol") is placed in the mouth and eaten ("gappa") at one time, without biting. Pani comes from the Hindi word for water and puri (or poori), an Indian bread made by frying dough in oil.
